A Brief Introduction of Department of International Relations

      Department of International Relations is responsible for all academic exchange and cooperation affairs connected with overseas universities, research institutions and governmental or business organizations.
     Main Working Scope:
       1. Conduct and supervise the college's international affairs.
       2. Make and implement the development plan on international exchange and cooperation.
       3. Develop and strengthen the cooperative relations with the overseas universities, research institutions and governmental or business organizations.
       4. Administer the joint educational and research programs.
       5. Receive the overseas delegations or individuals who come to visit college.
       6. Employ and serve the foreign teachers or experts working in the college.
    Currently ,Hunan College of International Business and Economics has established exchange and cooperative relations with Box Hill Institute , Australia. Cooperation based on joint projects has been quite effective. It not only strengthens the connection of HCIBE with the world, but also pushes HCIBE on the way of internationalization.

Joint education programs


     Hunan College of International Business and Economics and Box Hill Institute—Melbourne,Australia has established Sino-Australian joint education program. September 2008 the college will recruit the first sector of students about 300. Three majors,namely International Business, Marketing and Hotel Management, will be opened. Students who enroll Sino-Australian joint education program will receive dual-diploma of HCIBE anf Box Hill Institute after studying all courses.
