A Brief Introduction of Department of Common Basic Courses
The common basic courses are those that all students must master, required by the
Education Ministry or by our college. They focus on the training in general
qualities and fundamental abilities. They include Marxism theories, mentality
and morality training, physical education, college Chinese, college English,
computer applications and advanced mathematics.
Department of Common Basic
Courses has four teaching and research sections,namely Mathematics,Chinese,P.E.,
Politics. Currently, the department has a staff of 43 qualified teaching
professionals with the usual structure of educational background and age. Among
the staff, there are 35 highly-qualified full-time members. ( 11 professors and
associate professors accounting for 33% of the total, 10 postgraduates 29% of
the total.)
The department attaches great importance to academic research and
has made some achievements in curriculum development and textbook compilation.
Many theses are published in all kinds of journals every year. |
