A Brief Introduction of Department of Business Information and Technology
Department of Business Information and Technology
aims to foster advanced applied technical talent for the enterprises and IT
industries.The department offers seven specialties – Computer Network
Technology, E-business, Computer Information Management, Computer Application
Technology, Computer Art Design, Commodity Inspection Technology and Food
Engineering.
The faculty consists of 24 highly-qualified full-time members
amongst dual-skilled teachers accounting for 75% of the total, postgraduates and
postgraduate candidates 30% of the total, professors and associate professors
30% of the total. The department also employs some part-time teachers who are
experienced both as teachers and experts in their trade. The employment rates in
recent years remain at over 95%. At present 1,000 full-time students are
enrolled.
The department has been actively exploring a higher vocational
education pattern, vigorously implementing teaching reform and research, and won
the first prize for teaching reform in our college . Moreover, it has gained the
national funds for the development of Midwest and the practice and training
bases of our college. The department has established friendly cooperation with
many enterprises in order to solve the problems of employment, practice and
training. The department provides Diploma, as well as various occupational
training programs.
A Special Lab with advanced equipment and comprehensive
function offers the students a very good practice and training environment.
With
the employment rate of over 95%, students of this department have been popular
with the public relying on their profound technical ability and good
comprehensive quality. |
